The Lab in San Francisco's Mission district is holding their 14th Annual Postcard Show. The deadline is soon, but I think there's time to mail or hand in your (toy camera photography--HINT HINT) submissions!
Let me know if you do, and I'll post your work here!
Hi Sarah, this is a great blog, I love all things plastic fantastic a la cameras too! You've got some beautiful pics on here. I only found out about this as you've very kindly featured my photobooth work (from Photobooth/The Art of Waiting's comp) on your November post. Cheers! I'm also running a postcard project at the moment that I thought you might be interested in ... it's an ongoing chain of homemade postcards that's a bit like a giant game of word association. When it's your turn in the chain you'll receive a postcard made by someone you've never met with a random word on the front - you just have to make a new postcard using any medium you like with a new word on the front.. Not sure I'm explaining it very well, but I've got a blog for it so far on here too at http://passthepostcard.blogspot.com - that might make it clearer!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I'm gabbling - no worries at all if you don't fancy it, I just thought I'd ask as you're obviously creative! I'm following you on twitter anyway now too as @alphabetak so I'll be sure to give this site a mention.
Take it easy!
Kate :)
